Iowa is not only known for its contributions to advancement in agriculture, but equally for its quality of living and hard working spirit by the farming community.  Iowa was considered to be the “land of plenty” by its early settlers.  We share that same vision in Brazil.  Therefore, we view the name Iowa as appropriate in representing that same pioneering spirit in South America’s developing agricultural regions.
